Meet Our Staff

Terry Corritone, Owner

After earning her teaching credential and a Master's degree in Education, Ms. Terry got involved in early childhood education when her own children started preschool. She has owned The Ark School for twenty-six years and loves working with the children, the parents, and the staff. She enjoys being involved with her grandchildren's lives, and enjoys playing golf and attending yoga classes.

Carolyn Garrett, Executive Director/Goofy Goons Teacher

Ms. Carolyn has worked with Terry for 20 of her 22 years, helping the children of the Livermore community. She enjoyed working at another facility of Terry's where she had the opportunity to expand her skills as both a director and a teacher. Carolyn is thrilled to be back at The Ark, working with such experienced staff, and continuing the legacy of helping Livermore's next generation. She is always looking for ways to equip young ones for the challenges they will face in the future. In her personal time, Carolyn enjoys cooking for her husband and friends, and rooting on her favorite team, the COLTS! Her greatest joy is "coming to work each day as children drop what they are doing and come running to me with a hug excited to meet today's challenges."
