We provide preschool and child care programs for children ages 18 months through 6 years old.

  • Open Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 6:00pm
  • Full days and Half days are available

OUR PHILOSOPHY:

  • We believe that we have the opportunity to create a better world by providing a secure, warm, and nurturing environment for your child. We believe our program should reflect the values of each respective family by offering positive, creative experiences and practicing social competence.

  • Our school is founded on the premise that each child should be treated and respected as an individual.

  • Each child has a right to develop to the height of his/her ability through positive reinforcement and discovery, experiencing activities which pique his/her curiosity.

  • The child's parents and their culture are respected and reflected through inspired and creative curriculum.

We believe we have the opportunity to provide a positive and loving environment to enhance developmentally appropriate goals and skills.  We believe in nurturing as in giving them the words they need to be empowered while recognizing each child as an individual and as part of a school social structure.  We believe in building children's self esteem through positive reinforcement and allowing each child to express themselves and their culture.  We believe in encouraging the parent connection by creating opportunities for communication and participation.

 


LICENSING:

The Ark has a license from the California Department of Social Services. Licensing requires basic requirements dealing with staff qualifications, student-to-teacher ratios, facility specifications, and program parameters. The philosophy of The Ark is to exceed these basic standards where possible to assure the highest quality child care program.
